Nike VR_S Iron Sets Details

Nike studied the impact points of average players and used the findings from that study to design a game improvement iron that maximizes results in those areas where most misses occur. The new VR_S Irons have an expanded COR zone around the middle and lower part of the club face to optimize distance on mis-hits in those parts of the club face.

Using NexCOR variable face-thickness technology, the Nike design engineers constructed an iron of high strength, ultra thin stainless steel that delivers high COR throughout for superior distance. The Nike Power Bow technology positions weight off the face with an undercut construction that produces a higher, faster launch for maximum carry, straighter ball flight and steeper descent to hold the green.

For innovative game improvement technology, Nike's VR_S Irons lead the field--and will lead you to the green in fewer stokes.

  • NexCOR variable face-thickness technology
  • Nike PowerBow technology
  • Optimum COR for more distance
  • High launch and maximum carry

Product Q & A

My often hit irons (7 iron through PW) are starting to separate between the black piece of the shaft at the bottom and the blade. I'm not very impressed because these clubs aren't even a year old and they have maybe done 50 rounds to date. Plus they are expensive and buying the brand Nike, you think your getting a good product. Is there any suggestions of how I can fix this?

Answer by a Discount Golf World Expert
What you are describing are loose ferrules, and it's not that uncommon. As long as your clubhead is not loose, it won't affect playability at all. That said, we understand why you would be concerned, but there is an easy fix with epoxy. You can call us at 1-866-411-4349 and one of our golf club experts can tell you what you need to do. In the alternative, you can call Nike Golf at 1-888-799-6453 for warranty/return information, if that is your desire. Generally, Nike's warranty and return policy requires you to go to the original place of purchase. Thank you for your inquiry to DGW.
