The softer feel is a result of the Pro V's new softer compression core featuring ZG process technology combined with a new, responsive ionomeric casing layer. ZG technology also makes the new Pro V1 longer because it produces a lower, more controlled ball flight, with lower spin from the driver and long irons, resulting in a shallower angle of decent and more roll out. One of the biggest and most overlooked features is the new paint system that's part of the cover formulation, offering a significantly more durable cover that won't nick or chip and will resist discoloration.
