Years in the making, RocketBallz Fairway Woods are the most innovative high performancefairway woods TaylorMade Golf has ever created. The new RocketBallz are the end product of extensive research and development. RocketBallz “is not just a name; it’s the description of its performance,” according to the TaylorMade Metalwood Design Team. Although traditionally shaped, the Fairway heads have an exceptionally deep face and an extremely thin crown that allows the center of gravity to be positioned low and forward in the club. The Tour version has a slightly smaller head, open face angle and neutral flight bias designed for better players but with the same game improvement features as the standard model. The big game changer is the narrow sole slot, known as the "Speed Pocket," that allows for seriously increased ball speed at launch, which, when combined with the ultra-thin face, make these fairway woods ridiculously long. The white matte crown and contrasting black face allow for easy alignment. |
