They did this because these new RBZ Stage 2 Rescues are just simply the best they've ever made--and that's pretty impressive coming from the company that changed the way we play through their innovative rescue designs.
The Tour TP model is the same as the Tour model, but with Tour Performance shaft options. Both models have increased playability and ease of launch, accomplished through a lower profile clubhead and lower center of gravity (CG) than the first generation RBZ Rescues. The face material is RocketSteel by Carpenter®, a high-strength lightweight steel that provides a faster, more flexible face, and the Speed Pocket has been been substantially improved to offer even more flex. The result of these improvements is added distance and forgiveness.
The RBZ Stage 2 Tour TP Rescue comes equipped with the TaylorMade Loft-Sleeve Technology, an adjustable hosel that quickly and easily allows you to change loft and lie. There are seven standard and five upright loft options delivering +/- 1.5 degrees more or less loft from the standard setting. This means you can custom tune your Rescue to optimize launch to meet your preferences or to match changed or weather course conditions.
The RBZ Stage 2 Tour TP Rescue comes equipped with a premium Matrix Atlus 85 shaft and a variety of tour-grade custom shaft options are available.
