TaylorMade unleashes the second generation of of Speed Pocket Technology with the new for 2013 RocketBallz Stage 2 Tour TP Fairway Woods. This year TaylorMade adds 10 additional yards to the 17 that were picked up by better players with generation one.
The new Stage 2 Tour TP Fairway comes equipped with an ultra-high strength RocketSteel face supplied by Carpenter and an improved, faster flexing pocket design to deliver a thinner, faster flexing face that generates incredible ball speed. The lower and more forward center of gravity (CG) and lower head profile with shallower face design offer increased playability. The result is faster ball speeds across the face and even more distance for every player.
This Tour version of the RBZ Stage 2 TP features TaylorMade Loft-Sleeve Technology that offers seven standard and five upright loft options with a +/- 1.5 degree loft differential from the standard loft setting. This allows you to customize loft and lie to find your preferred ball flight, or to adjust to suit different course or weather conditions.
The stock shaft is a Matrix RUL 80 that promotes fast swing speed. A wide variety of custom shafts are available.
