New from TaylorMade for 2012 is the RocketBallz Driver. TaylorMade’s advanced RocketBallz Driver design and options bring the most sophisticated system yet to meet the golfer’s twin desires of distance plus accuracy.
The RocketBallz Driver has a large appearance at address while keeping a standard face height with a traditional shape. It features speed enhancing head aerodynamics that reduces drag and allows for faster clubhead speed. TaylorMade's Ultra-Thin Wall casting process and Thick-Thin crown design give the driver a low center of gravity that optimizes launch angle. Combined, these design elements produce in the RocketBallz Driver the ultimate in speed, power and distance.
Through its“Flight Control Technology” (FTC), TaylorMade offers eight, easily adjustable hosel settings to alter clubface angle, loft and lie for as much as sixty yards of side-to-side correction. With the Inverted Cone clubface technology milled directly into the back of the clubface, the player receives that special gift of a generous sweet zone that minimizes the effect of off center strikes. The end result is ridiculously long drives that find the fairway time and again.
The White Crown featured on the RocketBallz Driver inspires confidence while also eliminating "hot spot" glare. The black PVD face offers a sharp contrast to the white crown and provides for easy alignment with your target. The overall club weight of the RocketBallz Driver is less than 300 grams.
