Although custom fitting can be useful, there is typically little deviation in length of irons for the vast majority of golfers within the average range of height, within which you fall. A Uniflex Shaft is designed to appeal a more broad range of golfers. The uniflex shaft is a hybrid shaft that offers a flex somewhere between the two most popular flexes--stiff and regular. The uniflex shaft would appeal to a higher handicap golfer who is unsure what flex best suits his needs. This shaft is soft, like a regular shaft but is supposed to be as stable as a stiff shaft and helps to increase the trajectory of the ball. Many golfers refer to it as a "stiff regular."
