Feature needs to be upgraded for adding courses to the unit. When adding additional courses you have to reload all the courses you already have loaded.

Loads up quick. You can scroll through to different holes if you skip around or start on 10, etc. Heard battery life doesn't last, but has not been a problem yet.

I have played 5 rounds with the Golflogix Gps and it has exceeded my expectations. I did not want a lot of "bells and whistles" that would distract from my game and this has fit that role perfectly.
I am most impressed with both the accuracy and how quickly it determines distance. It is almost instantaneous. Battery life is good (I use Energizer Ultimate Lithium).
Downloading of courses could not be easier and appear to be accurate.
This was money well spent and has certainly made rounds more enjoyable .
The best GPS for the price.

Fast, Simple, Easy to Use

Short Battery on Download
Describe Yourself:

Great product. Easy and simple to use.
It was fun to drive to the course for the first time, and see the unit recognize the course. As I drove up to the parking lot the Golflogix was counting down the yards to the center of the green on the first hole.
The best thing about the Golflogix is the logic and simplicity that is built in. You don't have to do anything but look at the unit and play. As you walk, it advances to the next hole showing all of the relevant distances you need.
The only drawback is the battery power needed to load courses. It will wipe out 2 AA batteries pretty quickly. But since you can load 20 courses at a time, the chances for most people needing to download more than once or twice a season is fairly remote. It would be nice if it had an option for a power cord to be used when downloading courses.
The battery life while on the course is excellent. They claim 17 hours or so. I would not doubt it, because I played one round and the batteries are still at full charge. It is nice that the unit takes AA batteries rather than having a built in battery, because we all know those tend to go bad over time. You can put an extra set of AA batteries in your bag for those times when you need to make a switch while on the course.
Overall, the Garmin Golflogix is a great product. Just clip it to your bag and go.

Only down side is that in three rounds of golf batteries were used up. The entire unit should be rechargeable like a cell phone to make this product close to perfect.

I bought this unit over the other's because it had all of my local course's aviable. Sky Caddie does'nt. Only con is the yardage for the greens not always right, there's no way some of my greens are 30 yards deep. But knowing yardage to front is great, hitting more greens more often.

After a difficult time loading and downloading courses, etc., things have gone smoothly. The difficulty was apparently with my system, but this was not easily determined. There are improvements over the earlier product, which make this one much more useful (such as layup yardages etc). Thus far, the yardages have been very accurate.
