Odyssey Metal-X 1 Blade Putter Details
With a black finish inspired by feedback from the Tour Pros, the 2012 Metal X Putters were developed to be the first metal face inserts by Odyssey. The insert is comprised of dual layers of dimpled aluminum and urethane for smooth roll and sound. The dimples create friction for faster forward roll and lower the ball's launch angle.
The Metal-X 1 has a plumber-neck hosel unlike the other blades. It's sweet spot is sizable for more forgiveness and overall feel. The Metal X Blades dominated the Performance category of the Golf Digest Hot List, and earned another 5-star rating in the Look/Sound/Feel category.
