Nike VRS Covert Tour Hybrid Details
Nike is set to dominate the 2013 market for "awesome" with the VR_S Covert Tour Hybrid, which features the innovation of High Speed Cavity back design for optimal distance and forgiveness. The High Speed Cavity Back removes weight form the sole and moves it toward the heel and toe to enlarge the sweet spot. Likewise, the enhanced NexCOR Face offers a thicker face in the center that grows thinner toward the edges for super-hot ball speeds across the clubface.
Nike's patented FlexLoft system allows for independent adjustment of loft and face angle for custom-like tuning to preferred ball flight and trajectory. The 3 hybrid can be adjusted from 17 to 21 degrees and the 5 hybrid between 21 to 25 degrees, and each loft can be independently matched with Open, Neutral, or Closed face angles.
A Mitsubishi Kuro Kage Silver 80 premium shaft comes as the stock offering.
