Garmin Approach S3 GPS Golf Watch Details
The Approach S3 Golf Watch may be the size of a typical sports watch but its packed with more than 27,000 golf courses from around the world - without the subscription or extra fees. You are free to download additional course updates whenever they become available. The S3 is rugged, waterproof and features a high-resolution, glove-friendly touchscreen. To show the true shape of the green , select Green View, so you'll know where to aim even if you have an obstructed view. The face allows you to manually move the pin on the green to the day's location and really dial into the precise distance needed to fire your golf ball with confidence. You can customize your yardage points from anywhere on the course, get distances to doglegs and layups - even water hazards or bunkers - and keep digital scorecards of each individual player. The scoring options include Stroke play and Stableford and afterwards you can save, review and print scoring from your computer.
The S3 provides easy-to-read distances to the front, back and center of the green with clear numbering and the Measure Shot feature tells you exactly how far you hit it. In addition, an odometer lets you see how far you've walked the course and the timer keeps track how long it took to play 18 holes. Last but not least, recall there is no setup required, the S3 has rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

Product Review:
I've waited to get a range finder till the right one came out. Well, the Garmin S3 is that one. This watch looks great and feels great. Very easy to use. The green view with ability to move the pin in very nice, also the ability to add five locations per hole is a great feature. I played my first round yesterday, a guy in the other group I was playing with had a laser finder, our yardages were always the same. One exception to that was when he said he had 185 to the hole, I said I had 163. He re shot the pin and had it at 163 also, he hit a tree behind it the first time. Well done garmin, GREAT WATCH!
