The 2013 Women's X Hot Hybrid from Callaway delivers longer distances and more playability from every variety of lie thanks to a new, thinner face and an innovative redesign of the Warbird sole. Callaway engineers used a new heat treatment, called precipitation hardening, to offer a 17-4 stainless steel cup face that is 15% thinner than their previous hybrid, last year's RAZR X. The thinner Speed Frame Face is much more forgiving on miss-hits, increasing ball speeds and adding yardage across the surface of the clubface. This technology allows an optimized center of gravity (CG) for even more forgiveness. In addition, the refined Warbird sole features relief in both the heel and toe for increased playability from every lie. This versatile sole is slightly u-shaped in profile to enhance turf interaction.
