Designed for mid-handicap to scratch-level players, the Bridgestone J 40 Hybrid has plenty of forgiveness nonetheless, due to the thin crown design that allows weight to be moved to the perimeter. With a larger profile, stainless steel head, the J 40 offers a tungsten weight in the heel that lowers the CG and promotes higher launch, less spin, more carry and longer distance. Shots seem to jump from the face and the rounded sole works well from fairway, rough, or sand.
