Originally founded in 1979 by namesake Roger Cleveland, Cleveland Golf started off as a company known for producing exquisite replicas of classic golf clubs from the 1940's and 1950's. Today, Cleveland Golf is regarded as one of the forerunners in product innovation and is home to the #1 Wedge in Golf.

Cleveland Golf has experienced extraordinary growth since the appointment of Greg Hopkins as president in 1997. Hopkins' goal was to move towards a product line that would make high performance equipment available to golfers at every level and increase visibility in the marketplace. He has thus far succeeded on both counts with Cleveland products that feature such cutting edge technology as CMM™ metal, golf's first light density metal.
