The new Titleist Vokey Design Spin Milled Condition of Competition Wedges conform to the upcoming 2010 USGA/R&A Groove Rules and can be used in tournaments and match play that require the new grooves. The previous Vokey models were widely used on Tour, with nearly 50% professional players choosing Titleist (the nearest competitor was under 20%!). Nike Golf introduced square-headed golf clubs, including drivers, several years ago into a market firmly committed to the familiar round edge clubs. The notion that square clubs were great for amateurs and nobody else was crushed when Lucas Glover won the U.S. Open in June using a square driver and Stewart Cink won the British Open in July using a square driver. Tiger Woods made a dramatic return to golf by clinching the Arnold Palmer Invitational title for the sixth time.
